QuadReal Property Group is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Amazon to develop and manage Amazon’s seventh Canadian fulfillment centre. This centre will be located within the Nose Creek Business Park, a master-planned business community in the Rocky View district north of Calgary.

This new fulfillment centre, Amazon’s first in Alberta, will be a 600,000 square foot facility that will create more than 750 new full-time associate roles. To mark the announcement of this partnership with Amazon, QuadReal was proud to share with members of the community a launch event hosted at the Nose Creek Business Park property on October 26th.

Alberta Premier Rachel Notley, in attendance at this event, noted that, “We are pleased Amazon has chosen to grow and create jobs in the Calgary region. As we look for our economy to recover and diversify, companies like Amazon will play a strong role in positioning Alberta as a national leader in industry and innovation. The creation of 750 full-time good-paying, stable, and long-term jobs is significant. I’d like to congratulate Amazon on its success and thank the company for investing here in Alberta.”
