Dennis Lopez joined QuadReal as Chief Executive Officer in June 2017. He is responsible for the leadership of the company and its global investment strategy. His mandate is to create a market leading, global real estate investment firm that delivers strong performance and responsible management to its stakeholders. A seasoned real estate professional, Dennis has an extensive track record of global investments and brings deep relationships with real estate industry leaders and major institutional investors to QuadReal.
Dennis has been actively involved in real estate for over 30 years and has worked in the Americas, Asia and Europe. He has significant experience in real estate M&A, acquisitions, lending, developments and capital fundraising in both the public and private markets. Prior to joining QuadReal, Dennis was CIO of AXA IM – Real Assets, the fifth largest global real estate investment manager, based in Paris. In his combined roles at QuadReal and AXA, he has approved over $100 billion of acquisitions and loans. Previously, he served as the CEO of SUN Real Estate Group, a private equity firm based in Delhi and Moscow. Dennis spent his earlier career as the Global Head of Real Estate at Cambridge Place, a London-based hedge fund, and as Managing Director and European Head of Real Estate Investment Banking at JP Morgan in London.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He is currently the Board Chair of Article Student Living and a board member of Welltower (NYSE: WELL), T5 Data Centers, Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE). Previously, he was Co-Chair of the Capital Markets Committee at The Real Estate Roundtable and sat on the boards of American Campus Communities (NYSE: ACC), Homex (NYSE: HMX) and Ranger Global Real Estate Advisors. Dennis is based in Vancouver at QuadReal’s head office.
Melissa Cassar joined QuadReal in January 2023. As Chief Communications Officer, Melissa is responsible for fortifying QuadReal’s culture and leading the company’s external communications and reputation management.
A senior communications, marketing and public affairs professional, Melissa brings two decades of experience across multiple industries, including financial services, technology and government. She has helped organizations communicate, navigate and lead in times of change, and has established programs to strengthen brands, mitigate risk and engage employees at the global, national and local levels. Most recently, Melissa was the Global Head of Corporate Affairs and Commercial Communications at Thomson Reuters. Prior to that, Melissa held senior global positions with HSBC Bank USA, BNY Mellon and Visa. She also previously served as policy advisor and legislative aide in two consecutive Canadian federal governments.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and International Relations from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in International Communications from the University of Leeds and a Master of Business Administration from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Children’s Book Bank in Toronto.
Roger J. Chouinard joined QuadReal as Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary in June 2017. He is responsible for all transactional, investment, operational and corporate legal matters across QuadReal’s global business.
Roger has deep expertise in business and corporate finance law, real estate acquisitions and joint ventures, complex transactions and structures, as well as litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to QuadReal, he served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for First Capital REIT, one of Canada’s largest owners, developers and managers of grocery-anchored, retail-focused urban properties. Previously, he was a Partner with McCarthy Tétrault LLP, a leading Canadian business law and litigation firm.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, a Bachelor of Laws in Civil Law from Université Laval, a Bachelor of Laws in Common Law from the University of Victoria, and a Master of Laws in Securities Law from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University).
Remco Daal joined QuadReal as President of Canadian Real Estate in June 2016. He focuses on the company’s domestic operations, including investment, development, and the management operation of the Canadian property portfolio.
He was formerly the President and Chief Operating Officer of Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak) in Canada, where he was responsible for overall Canadian financial and operating performance. Previously, he held senior positions with CIBC Development Corporation and a private Toronto-based development company.
Remco holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from European University. He currently serves on the board of Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities.
Jonathan Dubois-Phillips joined QuadReal as President of International Real Estate in June 2016. His work with QuadReal focuses on the management and expansion of the company’s international assets.
With considerable international real estate investment experience spanning North America, Asia and Europe, Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge to the QuadReal leadership team. Formerly a Managing Director of Nomura International, one of Asia’s largest Investment Banks, Jonathan also worked in a senior role with Lehman Brothers in the Global Real Estate Group where he invested on behalf of the bank and its private equity funds across Asia, as well as in Europe and North America.
Jonathan has a Master’s of Business Administration from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia in Urban Land Economics.
Tamara Lawson joined QuadReal as Chief Financial Officer in September 2018. In her role, Tamara provides leadership to the finance team with a focus on business planning, data analytics, reporting, accounting, risk management and treasury and capital markets.
Tamara has accumulated considerable senior management experience in the areas of financial reporting, planning and analysis, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Her real estate experience includes both domestic and international markets for public and private enterprises across all asset classes, where she worked on complicated transactions and structures to create value for stakeholders. Prior to joining QuadReal, Tamara was the Chief Financial Officer of Dream Global REIT, Starlight Investments and Westmont Hospitality Group/InnVest REIT.
Tamara currently sits on the board of the audit, investment and governance committees of American Hotel Income Properties REIT. She holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Fellow (FCPA).
Diane MacDiarmid joined QuadReal as Chief Talent Officer in June 2016. She focuses on developing and implementing Human Resource strategies and practices that support and enable QuadReal’s performance and growth.
Diane has many years of experience in HR leadership roles and as a consultant to North American companies on issues of strategy, organization design and leadership effectiveness.
Diane holds a Master’s of Business Administration from York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University. She is a member of the Boards of Morneau Shepell and Altus Group, where she Chairs the HR Committee of Morneau Shepell, and the Governance Committee of Altus Group.
Thomas Garbutt joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in December 2016 and was appointed Chair on August 1, 2018.
Thomas was the Head of Global Real Estate for TIAA-CREF Asset Management and the Chair of TH Real Estate. At TIAA, he led the firm’s $90 billion global real estate investment management business, expanding their client base to institutional investors across North America, Europe and Asia.
Thomas holds a B.S. from Binghamton University and an M.S. in Real Estate Investment from New York University. He was previously a Board member for the Greenprint Foundation and the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. In 2010, Thomas was recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of The 50 Most Powerful People in Real Estate.
Rita Achrekar joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in September 2022.
Rita currently serves on the boards of ICICI Bank Canada, Farm Credit Canada and Canadian Investor Protection Fund. She is an Executive in Residence at the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services where she is involved in research and education in areas of emerging risks. She has also been a board member of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and Scotia Commodities Inc.
Rita brings over 30 years of experience in global capital markets, risk management, governance and business transformation. She was previously Senior Vice President, Global Risk Management at Scotiabank. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Rita held various senior roles with American Express Bank and ING Bank.
Rita holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. She holds the ICD.D (Institute of Corporate Directors) designation and has also completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School.
J. Lorne Braithwaite joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in December 2016.
Lorne was the founding CEO of Cambridge Shopping Centres, now Ivanhoé Cambridge. He joins QuadReal’s Board after serving as Chairman, President and CEO of Cambridge before the sale of the company in 2002. He is the Chairman of the Canada Post Pension Plan’s Investment Advisory Committee and a Special Advisor for Majid Al Futtaim Retail, the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure company in the Middle East and North Africa. Lorne also served as President and CEO of Build Toronto Inc., an independent real estate and development corporation established to generate value from underutilized real estate assets throughout the City of Toronto.
Lorne holds a B.Comm. from the University of Alberta and an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He is a Director of the Business Advisory Council at the University of Alberta School of Business and past Chairman of the Hospital for Sick Children Real Estate Division Capital Campaign. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Enbridge and OMERS Realty Corporation. In 2005, Lorne was a NAIOP Award for Real Estate Excellence Lifetime Achievement Honouree, and is a member of the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame. He was also a World-Wide Chairman of the International Council of Shopping Centres.
Daniel Garant, CFA, joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in July 2021.
As BCI’s Executive Vice President & Global Head, Public Markets, Daniel is responsible for managing a diverse global portfolio of investments, which combines index and active management strategies and integrates environmental, social and governance factors into investment analysis and decision-making. Before joining BCI, Daniel was the Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at the Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSPIB). Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Hydro-Québec, as well as the Chief Executive Officer at Hydro-Québec International.
Daniel holds a BA in Finance from Université Laval Québec. Daniel has served as director on the boards of both public and private companies.
Blair Hagkull joined QuadReal’s Board of Directors in September 2024.
With his entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, Blair brings to QuadReal over 35 years of international leadership and real estate experience in North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Throughout his career, Blair has managed, developed, advised, and transacted diverse real estate assets in twenty countries worth more than USD $250 billion.
Blair has served as Managing Director, JLL Canada, founding Managing Director, JLL Middle East and has played a leading role in globally significant real estate with Emaar Properties PJSC and as co-founder and Managing Partner of RSP Group based in Dubai, UAE, as well as Concord Pacific Developments in Vancouver and Toronto.
Blair has served as Chair, Urban Land Institute (ULI) Middle East and as Founding Vice Chair of the National Omani Hospitality Company, based in Muscat, Oman. He has also served as Chair of the International Advisory Board of the Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria, Governor and Chair of St Michaels University School, Trustee of the American School of Dubai, and the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island.
Blair holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University and an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Alastair Hughes joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in October 2019.
Alastair has over 32 years of real estate experience advising investors and occupiers in multiple international real estate markets, both at an operational level and strategic level. He joins QuadReal’s Board after serving as a member of the Global Executive Board at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) where he held various executive management positions, including CEO of JLL Asia Pacific and CEO of JLL Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Alastair holds a B.A. in Economics from Heriot-Watt University and a Diploma in Land Economy from the University of Aberdeen. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He currently sits on the Boards of several companies, including Schroder REIT Limited, British Land Company PLC and Tritax Big Box REIT PLC.
R. Scott Hutcheson joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in September 2023.
Scott brings with him over 30 years of executive and community-building experience across public, private and not-for-profit organizations. He is currently the Chair of Invest Alberta Corporation and serves on several boards including Own the Podium and Rohit Investments. Scott has also been a board member of Realpac, Calgary Economic Development, Opportunity Calgary Investment Fund and a meaningful number of arts, education and sports organizations.
Scott is the Executive Chair of Aspen Properties, a fully integrated, privately held commercial real estate company based in Calgary. Prior to co-founding Aspen Properties in 1998, Scott worked in institutionally supported investment organizations and as an investment banker for Goldman Sachs in New York and San Francisco.
Scott holds a Master of Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah. He holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Lauralee Martin joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in December 2016.
Lauralee served as Chief Executive Officer of HCP, a Fortune 500 REIT. Prior to HCP, Lauralee was with Jones Lang LaSalle in various executive positions, including CEO, Americas, COO and CFO, where she led the firm’s global financial strategy. She served as President Real Estate Finance and then CFO at Heller Financial Inc., helping take the company public in 1998 and facilitating the company’s sale at double the IPO share value to GE Capital, where she held management positions.
Lauralee holds a B.A. from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, where she was later inducted into the UConn School of Business Hall of Fame. She currently sits on the Board of Kaiser Aluminum Corporation and ABM Industries, as well as the non-profit Yale Union Contemporary Art Space.
Ramy Rayes joined the QuadReal Property Group Board of Directors in January 2023.
As BCI’s Executive Vice President, Investment Strategy & Risk, Ramy is responsible for setting, implementing and monitoring clients’ investment strategies and for providing independent advice to BCI’s stakeholders. Most recently, Ramy led BCI’s strategic asset allocation team and was responsible for research and recommendations related to clients’ asset allocation, investment strategies, and a wide range of other investment topics. Prior to joining BCI, Ramy spent a decade at Morneau Shepell Ltd. (now LifeWorks Inc.) in Montreal as principal, asset and risk management, where he advised employers on all aspects of asset & liability management for pension funds. Before this, Ramy spent two years at the Laurentian Bank of Canada.
Ramy holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics specializing in actuarial science from the University of Montreal. He is an associate of the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and a financial risk manager certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Chrystal Burns joined QuadReal in February 2017. As Executive Vice President, Canadian Retail, she is responsible for the performance of QuadReal’s retail properties in Canada.
Prior to QuadReal, Chrystal worked at Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak) in successive roles, most recently as the Retail Sector Lead responsible for the asset management of a $2 billion portfolio across Canada.
Chrystal holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town and an Urban Land diploma from the University of British Columbia. She completed a joint Master’s of Business Administration at Queen’s University and Cornell University in 2010. Chrystal holds a CFA designation and is one of the Founders and the Past President of CREW Vancouver, and continues to serve the organization in various roles.
Michel Cormier joined QuadReal in June 2020. As Managing Director, Global Portfolio Management, he focuses on global portfolio strategy and construction including strategic and tactical asset allocations, capital planning, performance measurement, analytics and investor relations.
Michel was previously Senior Vice President, Canadian Portfolio Management, where he led the portfolio strategy of QuadReal’s domestic real estate portfolio. Prior to joining QuadReal, he worked at BentallGreenOak for 20 years, most recently as Managing Director and Associate Portfolio Manager of the Prime Canadian Property Fund. His over 25 years in the real estate industry includes experience in portfolio management, acquisitions and dispositions, asset management, research and investor relations.
Michel holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA Charterholder.
Don Fairgrieve-Park joined QuadReal in February 2017. As Executive Vice President, Operational Excellence, his work with QuadReal focuses on leading office and industrial property management teams across Canada. In support of operational excellence across the organization, Don also leads sustainability, customer experience, procurement and digital innovation.
Don brings over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate. Don was formerly Senior Vice President, Real Estate with Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak), where he was responsible for the strategy, direction and growth of Bentall Kennedy’s development, leasing and property management in Calgary and Winnipeg. Previous positions included senior management positions in both Calgary and Vancouver with Oxford Properties and Bentall Kennedy.
Don holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary. He is most committed to advancing education and industry excellence, serving on the boards of BOMI Canada, the Property Management Institute of Canada, and his continued work with BOMA. Don is a BOMA Fellow and served as Chair of BOMA Calgary in 2012, BOMA Canada in 2016, and currently sits on the Executive Committee of BOMA International. He previously volunteered on several industry boards, serving as Director of NAIOP in both Calgary and Vancouver and as Chair and Director of the Green Calgary Association.
Rosemary Feenan joined QuadReal in May 2018. As Executive Vice President, Global Head of Research, her focus is on strategic research and analysis in support of QuadReal’s international investment objectives.
She was formerly Director of Global Research Programmes at JLL, concentrating on urbanisation, changes in city competitiveness and the impact of technological advances on real estate. She previously held a Board position at Chesterton International and a senior position at CACI Limited. In her early career she worked as a town planner and as a retail analyst. A frequent speaker at international conferences, Rosemary is also a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a Fellow of the Society of Property Researchers. She has also served on a number of international advisory councils regarding urban and real estate futures, including the World Economic Forum’s ‘Future of Cities and Urbanisation’ Council.
Rosemary holds a Master’s in Environmental Planning from Nottingham University.
Daniel Gliksman joined QuadReal in 2018. As Managing Director, Americas – East, he focuses on real estate investments across all asset classes in the United States.
Daniel previously served as Vice President at AEW Capital Management, a Boston-based institutional real estate advisor, where he spent 13 years investing in office, industrial, multi-family and retail properties throughout the United States and Canada. He began his career at UBS in 2001 and subsequently worked in the US Equities Group at IG Investment Management.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Peter Kim joined QuadReal as Managing Director, Asia in November 2017. His focus is on building the international portfolio, with an emphasis on our strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.
Peter was formerly a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Real Estate and Infrastructure Department at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), specifically focused on Asia Pacific investments. Before that, Peter was a Managing Director at CBRE Global Investors in Hong Kong where he had a dual role as Regional Head of Acquisitions for Asia Pacific and Fund Manager of the CBRE Phoenix Real Estate Fund, a pan-Asian opportunistic strategy. He also spent 11 years in the investment banking and fixed income divisions at Lehman Brothers where he built and led the bank’s real estate investment banking team in Asia.
Peter graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.

Jay Kwan joined QuadReal as Managing Director, Europe in February 2018. His focus is on building the international portfolio, with an emphasis on investing in Global Cities in the U.K. and Europe.
Jay was formerly a Managing Director at TPG Real Estate, the real estate investment group of private equity firm TPG, specifically focused on European investments. Prior to joining TPG in 2016, Jay was a Partner at Grove International Partners, an independent real estate private equity firm spun out from Soros Private Funds Management, where he spent 13 years investing in three continents across all asset classes at both the corporate and asset level. Jay began his career at Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners in New York in 2001.
Jay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University in New York.
Jay is an employee of QuadReal UK Services Limited, which acts in an advisory capacity to QuadReal Property Group.
Anthony Lanni joined QuadReal in February 2017 and Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities in June 2023. In his roles as Executive Vice President, Residential, QuadReal and President, Parkbridge, he is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the Canadian residential, hospitality, modular housing, and seniors’ housing portfolios, including responsibility for the sector’s integrated investment management, service excellence, technical services, and property management functional areas.
With demonstrated leadership in team building and expertise in all facets of Canadian real estate, Anthony brings a deep understanding of the expectations of residents and guests to the organization.
Prior to QuadReal, Anthony was formerly a Vice President with Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak), where he led multi-family asset management activities in Canada. Previously, he was a partner and division president with a Canadian development company with responsibility for the firm’s investment and development programs. Earlier, Anthony worked in corporate finance in both New York and Toronto with a global financial institution.
Anthony holds a Master of Business Administration Degree in Real Estate & Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University, an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University, and is a Professional Land Economist and a member of Lambda Alpha International.
Jamie Manley joined QuadReal in August 2018. As Executive Vice President, Canadian Investments, he is responsible for investment-related activity across Canada.
Jamie was formerly a portfolio manager at CPP Investment Board, where he was responsible for overseeing investments, strategy development and asset management for various aspects of its real estate portfolio in Canada and the United States. Previously, he held a position with Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak) in the opportunity funds group.
Jamie holds a Master of Science Degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor Arts from Queen’s University.
Nat Miller joined QuadReal in August 2016. As Managing Director, he oversees the expansion of the international portfolio, with an emphasis on investments in developed markets throughout Asia.
Nat was previously based in Vancouver where he focused on QuadReal’s U.S. portfolio. Prior to QuadReal, he was with IMT Capital, a multifamily fund manager based in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for underwriting, financial analysis, and fundraising across four funds totaling $1.8 billion in committed capital. Previously, he held positions at J.P. Morgan as a credit analyst and as a relationship manager in the firm’s asset management business.
Nat started his career with Colliers International in Shanghai, focusing on industrial investment sales. Nat holds a Bachelor of Arts from the College of William & Mary and a Master of Arts Degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is a CFA charterholder.
Nat is an employee of QuadReal HK Services Limited, which acts in an advisory capacity to QuadReal Property Group.
John joined QuadReal as Executive Vice President, Canadian Real Estate in February 2017. He focuses on driving performance and growth of the Canadian property portfolio, including investment, development and portfolio management activities.
He was formerly Executive Vice President & Portfolio Manager of Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak), responsible for overall portfolio performance and asset management activities of the commercial and multi-residential properties managed by Bentall Kennedy on behalf of BCI. Previously, he was a senior executive of a Canadian REIT focused on investment and management in the hotel sector. John started his career as a lawyer with Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg in Toronto, where he participated in numerous leading real estate financing and restructuring transactions.
John holds a Master’s of Business Administration Degree from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Toronto, and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan.
Prashant Raj joined QuadReal in September 2020. As Managing Director, U.S. Debt Investments, he focuses on debt investments including mortgages, mezzanine loans, commercial real estate bonds and platform investments in the United States.
He brings 22 years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets and lending to the QuadReal team. Prashant was formerly a Senior Managing Director of Guggenheim Partners, where he also held senior positions including Head of Guggenheim Commercial Real Estate Finance and Head of Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets and Special Situations. He started his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 2000 in the Commercial Mortgage Group and has held various roles at Credit Suisse Securities in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group.
Prashant holds a Bachelor of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and attended the MPS Real Estate Program at Cornell University. He is a member of the CRE Finance Council and serves on the Board of Directors of SAYA, a youth development organization in New York City.
Prashant is an employee of QuadReal USA Services LLC, which acts in an advisory capacity to QuadReal Finance LP.
Mike Snell joined QuadReal in December 2016. As Executive Vice President, Commercial, Eastern Canada, he focuses on leading overall performance for the commercial portfolio in Eastern Canada. Mike and his team play an important role in leasing, real estate management and growth through supporting development and investment initiatives.
Mike brings over 27 years of real estate industry experience. He was formerly Senior Vice President with GWL Realty Advisors, where he held various senior positions within the company. Most recently, he was responsible for the leadership, performance, and strategic direction of all commercial properties in the Greater Toronto Area. Previous positions include Development, Leasing, and Construction with a private real estate development company.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Oswego State University in New York, and currently serves on the board of Toronto’s Financial District BIA.
Paul Stern joined QuadReal in 2021. As Senior Vice President, U.S. Debt Investments, he focuses on originating debt investments including mortgages and mezzanine loans on construction, transitional and stabilized properties.
During his real estate career of over 23 years, Paul has been involved in over $10 billion in real estate transactions focusing on originations, transaction management, syndications and dispositions across all property types. Prior to joining QuadReal, Paul was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners. He also held senior positions including Co-Head of Originations at Guggenheim Commercial Real Estate Finance. He started his career at Berkshire Mortgage Finance in 2000 and has held various roles at Credit Suisse Securities, Citadel Securities and Merrill Lynch.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
Paul is an employee of QuadReal USA Services LLC, which serves in an advisory role to QuadReal Finance LP.
Scott Taylor joined QuadReal in November 2016. As Executive Vice President, Commercial, Western Canada, his priorities are focused on the company’s commercial property portfolio in Western Canada, including leasing, real estate management and growth through supporting development and investment initiatives.
He was formerly Senior Vice President of GWL Realty Advisors where he was responsible for overall performance of the commercial property portfolio in the Prairies. Previously, he held senior positions with Trizec Office Properties.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Alberta, and a Master’s of Business Administration from The Rotman School of Management at The University of Toronto. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Calgary Chapter of NAIOP, the Corporate Board of NAIOP, Business Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, and is Chair of the Salvation Army Hope in the City Luncheon.
Jim Ward joined QuadReal in May 2020. As Managing Director, Canadian Debt Investments, he focuses on the execution of growth, diversity and servicing of the company’s domestic real estate debt program.
With over 32 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Jim brings a deep understanding of mortgages, CMBS, loan syndication and unsecured debt finance to the QuadReal leadership team. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President and Head of Canada for the Real Estate Banking Division at Wells Fargo, where he was responsible for spearheading the company’s expansion into Canada. Previously, he held senior positions with CIBC Real Estate Finance, Merrill Lynch Mortgage Lending and London Life.
Jim is based in Toronto where he lives with his wife and three children.
Jameson Weber joined QuadReal in January 2018. As Managing Director, International Real Estate, Americas, his focus is on building the international portfolio, with an emphasis on our strategy in the Americas region.
He was formerly a Vice President and part of the founding team at Hightower, a leading real estate technology company, where he was responsible for both product strategy and business development. Previously, he held senior positions at Oaktree Capital Management and Cerberus Capital Management where he focused on equity and debt investments in commercial real estate and corporate real estate and securities. Prior to that he worked in the real estate group at Morgan Stanley.
Jameson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Jameson is an employee of QuadReal USA Services LLC, which acts in an advisory capacity to QuadReal Property Group.
Toby Wu joined QuadReal in February 2017. As Executive Vice President, Development, he oversees QuadReal’s development activities across Canada. Toby focuses on driving the development program’s performance through the successful execution of QuadReal’s growing Canadian pipeline.
Toby was formerly Senior Vice President of Investment Management at Bentall Kennedy (now BentallGreenOak), where he was responsible for the asset management and development activities for a number of office, industrial, multi-residential, and seniors’ properties in the GTA. Throughout Toby’s career in real estate, he has held positions across organizations of increasing responsibility and diversity while based in Vancouver, Beijing, Calgary, and now Toronto.
Toby holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA charterholder.
